EVANGELISM:
THE HEARTBEAT OF HEAVEN

1. INTRODUCTION

Leadership & Workers Training Teaching – HICC

There is something that makes heaven rejoice.
There is something that moves the heart of God.
There is something that activates angels.
That thing is EVANGELISM.
The church is not built mainly for programs…
The church exists for people—souls.
If we miss evangelism, we miss the very heartbeat of heaven.
Luke 15:7 (KJV) “I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.” Meaning:
Heaven celebrates one saved soul more than many who are already saved.

2. WHAT IS EVANGELISM?

Evangelism is: The intentional act of reaching out to the lost with the message of Jesus Christ for their salvation.
It is: not optional , not for pastors alone , not for special departments only It is the responsibility of every believer and every worker.

Mark 16:15 (KJV) “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

Meaning: “Go” = take action “Preach” = speak “Every creature” = no limitation

3. WHY EVANGELISM IS THE HEARTBEAT OF HEAVEN.

A. JESUS CAME FOR SOULS

Luke 19:10 (KJV) “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Meaning: Jesus did not come for buildings He came for souls

B. GOD DESIRES ALL TO BE SAVED

1 Timothy 2:3-4 (KJV) “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved…” Meaning: God’s will = salvation of all

C. HEAVEN CELEBRATES SOULS

Luke 15:10 (KJV) …there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.” Meaning: : Every soul matters in heaven

D. SOULS ARE ETERNALLY VALUABLE

Mark 8:36 (KJV) “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Meaning: A soul is more valuable than the world

4. EVANGELISM IS A COMMAND, NOT A SUGGESTION

Morning prayer is an ancient rhythm, and yet somehow many of us have lost it.
We’ve lost the sacred slowness.

We’ve lost the expectancy.

We’ve lost the simple, steady awakening to God’s presence before anything else claims our attention.

But it isn’t lost forever. We can wake up to God again. Not as another spiritual to-do list, but as a gentle returning to what the saints have always known.
So here’s my invitation:Every morning, before you reach for your phone, reach for the One who reaches for you. Let God have the first word. Let mercy meet you before the chaos does.

Morning by morning. Mercy by mercy. Breath by breath.
May the God who makes all things new meet you in the quiet. And may you find, as I have found again and again, that He was already there, waiting.

5. THE POWER OF EVANGELISM IN CHURCH GROWTH

Acts 2:41 (KJV) “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized… about three thousand souls…” Acts 2:47 (KJV) …And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”

Meaning: Evangelism brings souls , Souls bring growth NOTE THIS KEY TRUTH: No evangelism = no growth Active evangelism = active growth

6. WHO SHOULD DO EVANGELISM?
EVERY BELIEVER

2 Corinthians 5:20 (KJV) “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ…”

Meaning: Every believer represents Christ EVERY WORKER IN HICC Workers are not just: Ushers , choir , protocol , media They are also: SOUL WINNERS Proverbs 11:30 (KJV)“…he that winneth souls is wise.” Meaning: Soul winning is wisdom Soul winning is honour

7. THE HEART OF A SOUL WINNER
